RAISING FUNDS FOR GHT
Not just a normal British Bring and Buy Sale!
One fabulous Sunday in June, we gathered together after breakfast and decided to empty the attic. And the basement. And the spare room. Bric and brac, unworn clothes, old CD’s and little ornaments that had a dubious history.
We then raced off to Canal Street in Manchester’s Gay Village and thankful that Postulant Mona had just been wallpapering the Sling Room, we popped the whole load of stuff on her wallpapering tables!
Helped by those lovely people from the George House Trust, we gleaned even more stuff to sell! And sell it we did. All the proceeds going to their amazing Welfare Fund. So, another of fund raising was a huge success – watch out for our next one!
